Visitors coming from Queen Elizabeth National Park can also get to Lake Mburo National Park through Ishaka-Mbarara high way. There are 3 gates for entering into Lake National Park which include the Akagati Gate that is found in Lyantonde, Sanga Gate that is found in Sanga trading center, Kyanyanshara gate that is close to Mihingo lodge. All these gates are accessed by Muram road.
