Day 1: Arrival – Transfer To Your Hotel

Meet and greet our company representative at Entebbe International Airport where your Uganda gorilla fly in adventure Safari starts from. Our guide will warmly welcome you and facilitate seamless arrival formalities.  You will then be driven to your hotel for commence a briefing session about your gorilla adventure safari in Uganda.

Depending on the time of arrival you are advised to have money Changed on this day and time allowing you may go for city tour with the help of our driver/guide to visit Uganda Wildlife Education center to see the endemic species at an extra charge of $15 Per person or have a wine and cheese sunset cruise on Lake Victoria at an extra fee to welcome you for a memorable African adventure vacation!

Day 2:  Fly From Entebbe- To Kihiihi Airstrip Bwindi Impenetrable National Park

After early morning breakfast transfer to Entebbe Airport to catch a domestic flight to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park.  The flight is approximately one hour; you will meet our company representative for a smooth transfer to your booked lodge.

Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park lies in southwestern Uganda on the edge of the Rift Valley. Its mist-covered hillsides are blanketed by one of Uganda’s oldest and most biologically diverse rainforests, dating back over 25,000 years and contain almost 400 species of plants. More famously, this “impenetrable forest” is home to half of the remaining Mountain Gorillas in the world. After lunch, you may either relax at the lodge or take a guided community walk.

Day 3: Bwindi Gorilla Trekking Experiences

After an early breakfast depart to the starting point for briefing about your gorilla trekking adventure, after which you will be led by experienced gorilla trackers on the slopes of the volcanoes. You will start from the site where the gorillas were encountered the day before and from here, the gorilla tracking begins. Trailing and hiking is physically demanding however, the anticipation of the exciting experience ahead is so amazing and the beauty of the gorilla forest and its inhabitants are fascinating. Encountering these amazing primates is one of Africa’s major highlight. It is a humbling lifetime experience standing just few meters away from man’s distant cousins as you watch them eat, rest, play and bond with their young ones. You will follow the mountain gorillas as they range freely in their home and explore their stunning natural habitat. You are allowed an hour with the gorillas before finally sloping down back to your lodge. If your trek was relatively short, you may have a guided nature walk around the lodge and the surrounding communities in the evening.

Don’t forget to carry your rain gear, packed lunch, plenty of water, gloves, hat, and water proof bag for protection of your camera in case of rain

Alternatively, you can choose to have Gorilla Habituation experience on payment of $1500 where you will spend a grace period of 4 hours trekking along the Gorilla families, identifying individual members and their habits as well as taking enough photography. This activity requires advance booking and full confirmation of the gorilla habituation permit.

Day 4: Bwindi Impenetrable National Park – Departure

After gorilla trekking safari experience and beautiful magical scenes, transfer to the airstrip early in the morning for domestic flight back to Entebbe to catch up with your onward flight back to your next destination. Depending on your flight schedule, you may visit food markets, craft villages to buy souvenirs to commemorate your 4 days gorilla fly in safari in Uganda or request for a day room at an extra cost to be arranged at one of the hotels in Entebbe.

Alternatively, you may transfer to Entebbe by Road making by paying less $273 from the total trip rate. You may have a stopover at the Equator to stand in 2 hemispheres at the same time.  Take some photos, then another stopover at the Mpigi Royal Drum Makers where you will be able to watch the ceremonial drums being crafted using methods passed down through the generations arriving in the afternoon. Depending on the departure time, have a cheese and wine cruise on lake victoria at an extra fee of $75 per person to sum up your safari perfectly or you may decide to take a day room reservation to relax as you wait for your flight departure to your next destination. Please note that this day room can be arranged with prior communication
