Day 1: Arrival And Transfer To Volcanoes National Park

Upon your arrival at the airport for 4 Days double gorilla trekking safari in Rwanda, meet and greet our company representative for a quick briefing and transfer you to a hotel in Kigali for lunch. Later drive to Volcanoes National Park in Musanze. Check in and relax at the lodge as you prepare yourself for the first mountain gorilla encounter the following day.

Day 2: First Mountain Gorilla Tracking & Iby’Iwacu Cultural Village

On the second day of your 4 Days double gorilla trekking safari in Rwanda, walk up and have an early breakfast and drive to the park headquarter at Kinigi for briefing and start your gorilla trekking adventure into the deep forests of Volcanoes national park. Trekking takes between 2 to 8 hours depending on the movement of gorillas and physical fitness of the trekkers. After encountering gorillas, spend a full hour with them and later descend to the starting point to pick your certificates and drive back to the lodge for lunch and relaxation. In the evening, go for a cultural tour to Iby’Iwacu village for an exceptional cultural experience. Come back to the lodge for diner and overnight

Day 3: Second Gorilla Tracking & Twin Lake Visit

Have breakfast and drive to the park headquarters for another briefing in the morning to start your second gorilla tracking experience. You will be allocated to a different gorilla family to track. The routine will be the same as on day 3 however in the evening, you will take a visit to the twin lakes of Burera and Ruhondo.
These lakes are extremely spectacular and worth a visit, surrounded by the high hills of Virunga presenting magnificent sceneries for lifetime photography. During this visit, expect to spot a number of bird species and visit agro farms among others.

Day 4: Transfer to the Airport & Kigali City Tour
