This 3 days primate safaris in Rwanda includes 3 days and 2 nights offering the best sightings along the way and during the safari with in the wild. Primate safaris in Rwanda can be customized based on your request.
Day 1: Arrival at Kigali
After your arrival, meet and greet with your tour driver guide at the Kigali International Airport and have your safari briefings. Later depart for Musanze in the North, home to the famous endangered Mountain Gorillas. If time permits optional city tour of Kigali including a visit to the Kigali Genocide Memorial Site. Overnight at Le Bambou Gorilla Lodge
Day 2: Gorilla trekking
After your morning wake-up call and breakfast, report to the park headquarters for gorilla trekking briefings by the Volcanoes National Park’s guides. After you are assigned to a specific group, start your trek which will vary in length depending on which gorilla group you have been assigned to. You will spend one hour in their company before retracing your steps back down the volcano slopes. In the afternoon after you had lunch at the lodge, drive to the Burera-Ruhondo twin lakes. Overnight at Le Bambou Gorilla Lodge
Day 3: Golden monkey trekking
Breakfast, report to park headquarters to undergo briefings for tracking the rare golden monkeys which is a beautiful and distinctive bamboo-associated primate of the blue monkey family and endemic to the Albertine Rift Valley. After tracking have lunch at the lodge with an afternoon drive back to Kigali to meet your evening departure flight. Overnight at Le Bambou Gorilla Lodge
