Best Time to go gorilla trekking safaris and Tours in Uganda

Uganda is endowed with tropical climate with heaviest rain fall between March to May and October to December. January and February are recorded the hottest and the driest months of the year in Uganda and June to September is also a dry season. Gorilla trekking safaris and tours can be done through the year however, we advise visitors to plan their visits during dry seasons due to drier trails and trekking tends to be easier while in the wetter months the tracks tend to get washed out. The leverage of trekking gorillas in Uganda during the wet season is that gorillas stick to the lower slopes where temperatures are milder and food plentiful, which means trekking times will be shorter.
