Best time for chimpanzee trekking in Nyungwe forest national park

The best time for chimpanzee trekking in Rwanda is the wet season. The wet season happens from March to May and October to November. This time is the best because there is plenty of food for these primates so they don’t go deep in the forest to search for food. In the dry season which happens from June to September and December to February, these chimpanzees tend to go deep in the forest in search of food hence making trekking hard.
