How to access Bwindi forest for Gorilla Habituation experience

Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park can be best reached through road and air transport. The gorilla habituation takes place in the Nkuringo gorilla trekking sector located, and Rushaga gorilla trekking sector in the southern part of Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park.

By road, one can get to Bwindi impenetrable forest National Park through an 8 to 9-hour long road drive from Kampala or Entebbe via Mbarara city, Kabale Town, and then continue Nkuringo and Rushaga for Gorilla habituation experience. The drive is long but entertains you with a lot of plantation farms and get a chance to sport the Ankole long-horned cattle as well as a stopover at the equator.
