What is the best time to visit Mgahinga National Park?

Kisoro and Mgahinga National Park can be visited throughout the year and the best time to visit Mgahinga National Park is during the dry season which comes in January, February, and June up to early September. This is the best season because it makes the areas dry and most of the routes and trails in the park used for gorilla trekking can be easily accessed. The dry season also gives a clear vision of the park and its gorillas and golden monkeys since the vegetation is a bit dry to allow easy visibility.

Getting to Mgahinga Gorilla National Park via Kigali international airport is so easiest and shortest route as it will take you about 4 to 5 hours to reach the park through Katuna or Cyanika borders between Uganda and Rwanda.
