Day 1: Arrival And Transfer To Bwindi Impenetrable National Park

Meet and greet our company representative and professional guide for a quick briefing, pick up and transfer to Bwindi. The journey is approximately 8 hours from Kampala to any of the sectors. You will have a stopover at the Equator for photography and later proceed with your journey to south western region of the country.  We will have another stopover at Igongo Cultural Center for lunch before driving to our final destination. On arrival to Bwindi forest, check in and relax at your booked hotel and prepare yourself for mountain gorilla trekking experience the following day.

Day 2: Mountain Gorilla Tracking In Buhoma sector And Batwa Trail

Have breakfast and head to the park headquarters before 7:30 for a 30 minutes briefing about gorilla trekking. Get to know the dos and don’ts during gorilla trekking, split into groups and get allocated to a particular gorilla family to track. Start your trail into the forest in search for the giant primates with the guidance of UWA rangers. After locating the gorilla family, spend a full hour with them, see them play and take photos. Later descend to the starting point to pick your certificate and drive back to your lodge for lunch. Later go for an evening community walk to explore the Batwa pygmy culture in music, dance and drama among other activities.

Day 3: Second Gorilla Trekking In RUhija- Lake Bunyonyi for Canoeing

You will go through the same routine as on day 2 however; on his day, you will track a different family in Ruhija sector. Ruhija is among the best sector to encounter mountain gorillas in the jungle.
