Entrance Fee For Tour Company Driver Guides

Entrance Fee for Tour Company driver guides- Yes, tourism has become an important driver to Uganda’s economy with most of the tourists coming to Uganda to see the unique animal and wildlife species. The Uganda Wildlife Authority has decided to offer free entrance to tour company drivers or all tour drivers working for tour companies and also safari guides with clear job description documents and professionally certified drivers. This has been reached because of the good working relationship with the Association of Uganda tour operators and Uganda wildlife Authority and other Safari Guides Association called Uganda Safari Guides Association.

Uganda Wildlife Authority offers free entrance to tour company driver guides and safari guides.

Briefly, tour drivers are drives that bring tourist vehicles to the park while the safari guides involve those professional guides bearing qualifications for certified institutions. The Uganda Wildlife Authority offers free park entrance fees to the tour guides and safari guides only when they are bringing tourists to the parks but not coming to enjoy themselves within the park. To ensure this, the Uganda wildlife authority verifies the status of the safari guides and tour drivers with help of the Uganda tourism board giving them special stickers as safari guides. In cases where the guide will be a driver, then the other passengers. Suppose some visitors would lie to get any means of transport to the park, then the Uganda wildlife authority works hand in hand with gazetted stages such that they recommend the drivers of their association that will offer the driver the pass to take tourists to the National Park.

This free entrance for tour drives and guides is a welcome venture as it reduces the cost of the tour packages or safaris for all those visitors visiting Murchison falls national park, Kidepo valley National Park, Semuliki National Park, Queen Elizabeth National Park among others where previously the guides and tour company drivers have been paying park entrance fees to access these parks. Remember that tour guides and drivers stay with tourists for the entire safari and thus for them to do their work effectively, then they need this kind of support from the Uganda Wildlife Authority. This development is hopped that it can as well be developed by lodges by offering complimentary accommodation services to safari guides or tour drivers.
