Clouds Mountain Gorilla Lodge is situated in the Nkuringo sector of Bwindi impenetrable forest national park. The lodge can be accessed from Entebbe international airport or Kampala by road. By using road transport, you will reach the lodge after an approximately 9 hours’ drive with wonderful stopovers at the equator and Mbarara /Igongo cultural center for lunch. Still, the lodge can be reached on road from Kigali International airport and this journey is relatively shorter as you drive for about 4 to 5 hours from Kigali to Nkuringo Bwindi Lodge via Cyanika/Katuna border of Uganda with the Republic of Rwanda. Scheduled flights are also available from Entebbe international airport/Kajjansi airfield to Kisoro/Kihihi airstrip and the journey will take approximately 2hours to reach Clouds Mountain Lodge. Domestic airlines operate daily in Uganda having both morning and afternoon flights.
