Day 1: Picked up from the Kigali international airport or Kigali city to Volcanoes National Park

On this very day, you will be picked up from Kigali International airport on arrival or at the hotel where you will have spent your night from. Here you will take a short tour to the Kigali city, see the genocide sites and the Kigali genocide memorial

Center, Presidential museum, and other activities depending on the time that you have. After this good and interesting tour in the cleanest city in East Africa and the whole of Africa, you will dine in a city restaurant for the wonderful local or international dish, the guide knows very well where the nice restaurants are located and you will be served food base your menu preference. After having lunch, you will now move to the life-changing journey to the destination with endangered mountain gorillas, enjoy the beautiful sceneries of the rolling hilling in Rwanda before and after reaching Volcanoes National Park.

Day 2: Gorilla trekking experience in Volcanoes National Park

In the morning after having your tasty breakfast prepared by your lodge, you will go for volcanoes perk headquarter for the gorilla trekking briefing and later head into the forest to search for the habituated mountain gorilla family led by the guide. While briefing the guides will share the moments and give you gorilla trekking trips while in the forest searching for gorillas. unlike other destinations, at the headquarters, you will be served with a cup of tea and sometimes cultural troops will entertain you will traditional dance and drama in Kinyarwanda style. The activity of gorilla trekking is so interesting and it brings you close to the real feeling of Africa’s wildness in the wild. You will as well encounter other species such as birds, rare golden monkeys and if you’re lucky, you can encounter the forests buffaloes, and elephants. After gorilla trekking, you will return to your lodge and relax and then go for an evening cultural explore of Ibyiwacu cultural village which has the history of the Rwanda culture. Some of the members of the cultural village are the people who were formerly poachers and depended on the forest for their livelihood. By participating in this cultural walk then you will have indirectly contributed to the conservation of the endangered mountain gorillas.
