Detailed itinerary

Day 1: Depart Entebbe airport

You will start your 3 days Fly in Day Uganda Gorilla Habituation experience tour from Entebbe international airport whereby the arranged domestic flight (scheduled or chartered) will transfer you to Kisoro airstrip close to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park. The flight from Entebbe international airport to Kisoro airport will take about one hour and from Kisoro Airstrip, you will find when our guide is there waiting for you with our luxurious or standards 4×4 vehicle and transfer you to your booked lodge in the Rushaga sector

Main destination:  Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park

journey time: Approximately one to two hours (1-2)

Day 2: Gorilla habituation experience in Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park

This day is crucial in our 3 Days Fly-in Gorilla Habituation experience tour. After a healthier night of imagination of how the experience of gorilla habituation experience will be, Wake up early in the morning and get served with the breakfasts and you will get your packed lunch and head to the park headquarters for briefing. The briefing is done by the ranger who will tell you what you should do and what you shouldn’t do while on gorilla habituation experience in the Bwindi impenetrable forest National Park Rushaga sector. You will be led by a team of researchers and guides to the forest, while looking for the semi-habituated mountain gorilla families, you will be may encounter other wildlife species such as birds, butterflies, unique tree species, and other mammals which will all be identified by your guides. Once you see the gorillas you will spend 4 hours with them. you will see the gorillas that are being habituated and thus they are not yet fully used to the people and you may be allowed to participate in the activities that researchers do to make gorillas get used to the people such as the naming of the gorillas, calling them, collecting samples and others. You will then be guided back to the park headquarters where you had started from and receive a certificate or gorilla habituation experience success and then you will be driven back to your lodge for the overnight stay. This experience enables you to spend more time with mountain gorillas though you will have less time. Our 3 Day Fly-in Gorilla Habituation experience tour package is not fixed and you can advise us on what to include based on your interests and travel needs.

Day 3: Departure from Kisoro airstrip to Entebbe airport

After morning breakfast, you will be driven by our safari guide from your lodge and transfer you to and from Kisoro Airstrip and then here it is where you will find your scheduled or chartered flight from to Entebbe internal Airport depending on the schedule whether morning or evening and this will mark the end of your 3 Days Fly-in Gorilla Habituation experience tour
