Day 1: Pick and transfer to Bwindi impenetrable forest national park

You will drive to Bwindi impenetrable forest national park where you will arrive at the park headquarters for a briefing, thereafter you will be grouped not exceeding 8 and given a ranger guide to lead you into the forest. The group is based on age, physical fitness, and many others. You are advised to carry enough drinking water as well as energy-giving snacks since the trek is strenuous and can take 30 minutes to 8 hours depending on the location of the apes.

The ranger guide will lead you into the forest to start your search on mountain gorillas. Trekking can be difficult sometimes that’s why you need a stick to help you balance.
