Day 1: Arrive and meet and greet at Entebbe Airport at – Visit of the tomb of the Buganda King

Day 2: Transfer to Entebbe Airport for a flight to Kihihi – Afternoon Relaxation or visit of pygmy trail

Day 3: Gorilla Tracking Experience

Day 4: Morning return flight to Entebbe – Transfer to Murchison falls National Park

Day 5:  Morning Game Drive and afternoon Boat Safari to the Bottom of the fall, Optional Hike to the Top of the Falls at an Extra Fee of $15 per person

Day 6: Transfer to Mbale through Lira and soroti

Detailed Itinerary

Day 1: Arrive and meet and greet at Entebbe Airport – Visit of the tomb of the Buganda King

Meet and greet at Entebbe International Airport where your Uganda Adventure Safari starts by our representative who will warmly welcome you and facilitate seamless arrival formalities.  Your will then be transferred to Kasubi Tombs where you will have an insight on how Buganda one of the Indigenous tribes always bury their kings culturally, you will meet with the site guides who will take you through their History and the Present way of Life.

You will later be transferred to any nearby Forex Bureau in town where you will you‟re your money Changed on this day and time allowing you may go for another city tour with the help of

our driver/guide, visit the shopping Malls around town and craft villages to get items which

you may need while in upcountry

Transfer Back to Entebbe City where you will reside for an Overnight after your Dinner in a selected Restaurant or same Hotel Of Residence.

Day 2: Transfer to Entebbe Airport for a flight to Kihihi – Afternoon Relaxation or Optional visit of pygmy trail in Buhoma side at an extra fee

Early morning after breakfast transfer to Entebbe Airport to catch a domestic flight to the Kihihi Airstrip.  The flight takes approximately one hour.  You will meet with our representative at the airstrip who will transfer you to the lodge – Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park lies in southwestern Uganda on the edge of the Rift Valley. Its mist-covered hillsides are blanketed by one of Uganda’s oldest and most biologically diverse rainforests, dating back over 25,000 years and contain almost 400 species of plants. More famously, this “impenetrable forest” is home to half of the remaining Mountain Gorillas in the world.  You May Relax at the Lodge or have an optional Batwa pygmy cultural trail at an extra fee of $70, this activity takes a maximum of 4hours.

Day 3: Gorilla Tracking Experience 

Today is a highlight of your 8 Day Best of Uganda Gorilla Tour, Wildlife Safari & Community Encounter package! After an early breakfast depart to the starting point for briefing about your gorilla trekking adventure, after which you will be led by experienced gorilla trackers on the slopes of the volcanoes. You will start from the site where the gorillas were encountered the day before and from here, the gorilla tracking begins. Although the hike can be physically demanding, the anticipation of the exciting experience ahead is amazing, and the beauty of the gorilla forest and its inhabitants are fascinating. One of Africa’s major highlights is when you encounter these amazing apes. It is a humbling experience to stand just meters from man’s distant cousins as they eat rest, play and bond with their young ones. Follow the mountain gorillas as they range freely in the impenetrable forest, and discover their gorgeous natural habitual and the many species they share it with. You are allowed an hour with the gorillas before finally sloping down back to your lodge.

Do not forget to carry your rain gear, packed lunch, plenty of water, gloves, hat, and waterproof bag for protection of your camera in case of rain

Day 4: Morning return flight to Entebbe – Transfer to Murchison falls National Park

After an ultimate Gorilla experience, encountering with the community and beautiful scenes, you will immediately transfer to the airstrip in the morning or early afternoon to catch a Domestic back to Entebbe Airport where you will proceed with your Journey to Murchison Falls National Park by Road with a stopover for Lunch in a selected Restaurant or another stopover at Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary for Optional Rhino Tracking at an Extra Fee of $45 per person

Day 5:  Morning Game Drive and afternoon Boat Safari to the Bottom of the fall, Optional Hike to the Top of the Falls at an Extra Fee of $15 per person

Arise very early in the morning for your game drive on the northern bank of the River Nile in your open-roof vehicle which will give you an excellent opportunity to view and photograph the diverse wildlife. Your guide will help you spot elephant, lion, cape buffalo, Roth child‟s giraffe, Hartebeest, waterbuck, oribi, bushbuck, bohor reed buck, hyena and if you are lucky, the Leopard.

After lunch, go for a boat cruise upstream the calm Victoria Nile to the base of the falls stopping just few of meters from the „Devil‟s Cauldron‟, marvel at the schools of hippos, Crocodiles and over the 17km stretch you may see elephant, waterbuck and Uganda Kob. This is also the zone of many birds, species like goliath heron, Egyptian goose, pelican bee-eater, kingfisher, hornbill, cormorant and the rare shoebill stork.

After taking shorts of the photogenic Murchison Falls, you may continue to the top of the falls at an extra fee of $15 per person where you will have the amazing view of the falls! See where the Nile -world’s longest river explodes violently through a narrow cleft in the Rift Valley escarpment to plunge into a frothing pool 43m below. Later, return to your lodge and relax in the evening.

Day 6: Transfer to Mbale through Lira and soroti

Have Breakfast and leisurely Transfer to Mbale enroute with a game drive as you check out of the Park. You will have lunch in a selected Restaurant enroute.

Day 7:  visit of Jewish churches and Abayudaya community

Have Breakfast and visit the Jewish Churches and enjoy an insight of their social way of Life. The Abayudaya are a Buganda community in eastern Uganda near the town of Mbale who practice a form of Judaism, they are devout in their practice, keeping kashrut, and observing Shabbat. There are several different villages where the Abayudaya live. Most of these are recognized by the Reform and Conservative movements of Judaism. Their population is estimated to be approximately 1,100, having once been as large as 3,000 (prior to the persecutions of the Idi Amin regime, during which their numbers dwindled to around 300); like their neighbors, they are subsistence farmers. Most Abayudaya are of Bagwere origin, except for those from Namutumba, who are Basoga. They speak Luganda, Lusoga or Lugwere, although some have learned Hebrew as well.

Day 8:  Return to Entebbe flight back home

You may spend few minutes with the Jewish community depending on your flight time later transfer to Entebbe  to end your 8 Day Best of Uganda Gorilla Tour, Wildlife Safari & Community Encounter with a stopover for Lunch in a selected Restaurant and another stopover in Mabira Barbeque Road Side Market for a Taste of Roasted Gonja and Hot Chicken at your expense.
