Buwama Crocodile Farm And Mpanga Forest Tour.

This tour will take you to Buwama crocodile farm village located in Mpigi district in western Uganda along Masaka-Kampala highway. It’s a place for people interested in watching crocodiles, birding, and swimming. The crocodile farm is located at the shores of Lake Victoria. And you will also get to visit Mpanga forest a natural equatorial rainforest located in Mpigi district for fresh air, birding if interested and have a forest walk as you get fresh air.

Our driver will be ready to pick you after morning breakfast. You will be briefed about the journey then you take off using Kampala-Masaka highway. When you reach Mpigi town you branch off and have a stopover at Mpanga forest for a forest walk where you will have a chance to see mammals such us bush backs, red tailed monkeys among other different primates and some bird species for keen bird watchers. The forest has over 500 tree species and 200 birds for forest bird watching activities. The forest is also a perfect destination for bush picnics. This forest is protected and Managed by National Forestry Authority (NFA)

After Mpanga forest you will then continue to Kayebwe have a stopover at the equator where you stand in the two hemispheres as you take photos, record moments and also check out crafts made by local people. You are advised to take as many photos as possible to commemorate your tour.

After Equator experience, drive and branch off the Buwama crocodile farm where you will find crocodiles being bred and have a view of Lake Victoria the largest lake in east Africa. While at Buwama crocodile farm village you will watch crocodile take pictures with them and you can go swimming in the fresh waters of Lake Victoria as well as have a nature walk around the farm. From there you will and get to Kampala up to your hotel.

This tour can be extended to other destinations such as Lake Mburo and Queen Elizabeth national parks for wildlife viewing and Bwindi & Mgahinga gorilla national parks for gorilla trekking safaris
