Entrance fees in Bwindi impenetrable national park: Bwindi is a great destination for mountain gorillas trekking safaris. The park is famously known worldwide for habiting endangered mountain gorillas and beats other gorilla trekking destinations with over 600 mountain gorilla species. Bwindi Park is found in the south western Uganda and it covers an area of 321 sq. km and is in an elevation range of 1,160mtrs-2,607mtrs above sea Level. The Park is always covered with mist and captured with biological diverse rainforests.

Bwindi is a habitat of mountain gorillas and is in four divisions, that is, Ruhija, Buhoma, Rushaga and Nkuringo. The park is a home of over 600 mountain gorillas but some of the 18 habituated gorilla families are; Bikyingi gorilla family, Mucunguzi gorilla family, Busingye gorilla family, Bweza gorilla family, Kahungye gorilla family, Mishaya gorilla family, Kyaguriro gorilla family, Nshongi gorilla family,  Bitukura gorilla family, Oruzogo gorilla family, Christmas gorilla familyNkuringo gorilla family, Katwe gorilla family, , Bushaho gorilla family,  Rushegura gorilla family, Mubare gorilla family and Habinyanja gorilla family.

Bwindi impenetrable forest National Park has 18 habituated mountain gorilla families. Through mountain gorilla trekking safaris in Bwindi, each family has its own experience. Uganda wildlife Authority is the one in charge of governing Bwindi impenetrable forest National Park and also governing all other Uganda’s national parks and reserves.

Bwindi impenetrable forest National Park has many other activities a part from mountain gorilla trekking, there are also activities like Batwa cultural experience, nature walks as well as commercial filming and photography.

Mountain gorilla trekking fee.

Foreign non- residents (FNR) pay $700 per person per day, foreign residents (FR) pay $600 per person per day, East African citizen (EAC) pay 250,000Ugx each person per day.

Mountain gorilla habituation.

Foreign non- residents (FNR) pay $1500 per person each day, foreign residents (FR) pay $1000 per person each day, East African citizen (EAC) pay750, 000Ugx each day per person.

Batwa cultural experience.

Foreign non- residents (FNR) pay $40 per person, foreign residents (FR) also pay $40, East African citizen (EAC) pay 40,000 per person.

Nature walks

Foreign non- residents (FRN) pay $30 per person, foreign residents (FR) pay $15 per person per day, East African citizen (EAC) pay 10,000 per person each day.

Commercial filming and photography

All filming and photography	40% of the activity fee (inclusive of the monitoring fees of 10%per day)

Aircrafts landing fees

In Bwindi impenetrable forest National Park, all aircrafts are charged a selected fees, these fees are allocated according to the number of seats in the aircraft and the type of the aircraft.
