Day 1: Arrival and transfer to the hotel in Entebbe or Kampala

After arriving at Entebbe International Airport, for your 9 Day Kidepo Valley and Bwindi Gorilla safari in Uganda, you will meet pour traveler guide who will drive you to your hotel for relaxation, lunch, dinner and the overnight stay deepening on the time you have landed at the Airport

Drive time: Approximately 10 minutes

Day 2: Fly to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National park

You will be driven to Entebbe international airport whereby the arranged domestic flight (scheduled or chartered) will transfer you to the Kihihi airstrip close to the Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park Buhoma sector. The flight from Entebbe international airport to Kihihi airport will take about one hour and from Kihihi Airstrip, you will find when our guide is there waiting for you with our luxurious or standards 4×4 vehicle and transfer you to your booked lodge. You may decide to fly from Entebbe international airport in the morning or afternoon. Morning flights to Kihihi airstrip depart Entebbe international airport at 7:45 am while the afternoon flights depart at half past midday.

Day 3: Gorilla trekking in Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park

This experience will make you meet and endangered mountain gorillas in their natural world which is so rewarding, you will starting the gorilla trekking experience at the park headquarters for a briefing where you will be given instructions to follow while in the forest enjoying the gorilla trek. Here, you will also be allocated the gorilla family to trek and that’s why it important that you inform your guide about the interest of the gorilla family that you would like to trek such that you can be considered when allocating the gorilla families. Gorilla family allocation is done basing on your interests, physical fitness, and age, and after all this, you will be transferred or taken to the starting point for your gorilla family. Gorilla trekking in Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park may last between 30 minutes three hours and thus you need to prepare for this journey. You will spend only one hour with the habituated gorilla family as you enjoy the family while observing their activities such as feeding and learn more about these animals including what do they do and what they like. After, this you will be guided back to the starting point and get a certificate and then go to the loges relax, dinner, and overnight at your lodge.

Day 4: Fly back to Entebbe Airport for the overnight stay at Entebbe town

After morning breakfast, you will be driven by our safari guide from your lodge to Kihihi o Airstrip and then here it is where you will find your scheduled or chartered flight from Entebbe internal Airport depending on the schedule and get back to your hotel or guesthouse in Entebbe town where you can even have an evening walk around Entebbe botanical gardens and the Entebbe Zoo later for overnight Stay.

Day 5: Fly to Kidepo Valley National Park

The driver will pick you up from your hotel or guesthouse in Entebbe and drive you to Entebbe international airport for your scheduled flight to Kidepo valley National Park. The flight from Entebbe will be so interesting exposing to some of the best of Uganda’s beautiful sceneries. You can as well get some aerial photos during your fly-in safari. You will spend about 2 hours in the air before landing at the Kidepo airstrip where our guide will pick you up and transfer you to your booked lodge where you will relax and get served with lunch or swim as you wait for your afternoon boat cruise. After all this, you will be driven to the Kidepo Valley for the game drive safaris to spot various animals such as elephants, hippos, antelopes, and if you’re lucky you may spot some cuts such as lions and leopards and after the game drive you will drive back to the Lodge.

Day 6: Game drives in the Narus Valley

After taking a cup of tea in the morning, now you will drive to the Narus valley for the morning game drive as you be keen to sport some of the animals such as cheetahs in case you’re lucky. Kidepo Valley National Park is so unique in that it is interesting with self-guided game drives passing through the vast untamed wildness. The Narus Valley is so fantastic with stunning and beautiful views for your photograph moments. As you finish, you will return to your lodge for short relaxation and lunch as you prepared to go ahead to visit the Karamajong cultural people who are popular cattle keepers who find love with their cows and at times they have a mentality that all cows in the word belong to their home or tribe. They live in the homesteads called Manyatas which you will explore and visit and you will be welcomed traditionally with music dance and drama competitions and later you will return to the lodge for the overnight stay and relaxation

Day 7: Morning and afternoon visit to Karamajong Manyatas

After taking your breakfast, you will be excited with the en-route game drive via the Narus valley as you head to Kidepo Valley. This trail will lead you to an area with a lot of birding species including the rare ostrich bird. Explore the hot springs as the guide will explain all about the cultural settlements and the history attached to the indigenous people. You will as well enjoy the photos of the Uganda South Sudan Border before you return to the lodge for lunch, dinner, and the breakfast

Day 8: Game drive and visit the Ik people

Visitors here will enjoy the en-route game drive to the magical Narus valley as the safari driver takes you through the Kidepo Valley. In this, you will be able to sport very many birds including the rare and endangered ostriches, it is also on this trailhead where you will be able to visit the hot springs with the guide giving you a wonderful explanation about the culture and the indigenous people around. You will also a clear view or picture of Uganda and southern Sudan border before getting back you the lodge for lunch, dinner, and the overnight stay.
