Permits can be bought from a trusted tour operator, Uganda revenue authority, Rwanda development board, and Virunga national park website. The permits for habituation which is only done in the Rushaga sector are bought at a fee of $1500, gorilla trekking permits for DR Congo cost $450 in the dry season and $200 in the low season, Rwanda permits go for $1500 and lastly, Uganda permits cost $700 for foreign non-residents, $600 foreign residents and UGX250,000 East African Citizens.

Game drives
