Day 1: Picked up from Entebbe International Airport and drive to Mgahinga National Park

On this first day, our driver will pick you from Entebbe international airport of arrival or at the hotel where you will have spent your night in Entebbe or Kampala and drive to southwestern Uganda in Mgahinga National Park. Before you will have a stopover at the equator for the photo moment and crafts buying if you’re interested and later move to Mbarara city via Masaka city for lunch at Igongo cultural center hotel before you proceed to Mgahinga Forest National park through the Kabale and Kisoro rolling hills covered with terraced gardens.

Day 2: Hiking Mount Sabinyo

After a peaceful night on this second day of your 3 days Sabinyo hiking safaris, you will wake early in the morning and have your morning breakfasts and still, drive to the Mgahinga National Park headquarters for Mountain Sabinyo hike briefing and useful instructions, the after gate your porter ready if you need him and embark on the Mount Sabinyo climbing journey with the guidance of your guide. This will take you about 5 to 8 hours for both ascending the mountain and descending. While hiking, you will enjoy the great views of the other Virunga volcanoes and the various forests bounding the Sabinyo mountain providing habitat to several unique bird species that you will as well explore during your Mount Sabinyo climbing, you’re lucky, you may meet the gorillas and golden monkeys as your hiking, at the summit of Mount Sabinyo, your eyes will be filled with spectacular crater lakes that occupy the top of the mountain as you enjoy the wonderful views of Uganda, Kenya and the Democratic Republic of Congo at once. You will spend about 8 hours ascend and descend to mount Sabinyo. After this wonderful experience, you will find when your driver-guide is waiting for you and he will drive you to the lodge for lunch and relaxation and overnight stay as you prepare for your morning gorilla trekking in Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park.

Day 3: Gorilla Trekking – Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park

After taking breakfast, go for an exciting gorilla trekking trip in Bwindi to encounter the gentle primates of the jungle. After meeting them, retrieve from the forest, meet your guide and start the journey to Queen Elizabeth National park which is found in western Uganda. Queen Elizabeth National park is one of the most visited national parks in Uganda with several wildlife species such as elephants, buffaloes, leopards, Nile crocodiles, and tree-climbing lions. The journey will take you approximately 6 hours and will take you to the Mweya where you will do the evening game drives to spot animals such as the elephants, antelopes and if you’re lucky you will be able to spot, leopards, and spotted hyenas. Then you will proceed to your lodge in the northern sector of the park for relaxation, dinner, and overnight stay.

In the morning you will wake up very early and thereafter drive to Kasenyi plains for game drive safaris. The morning game drive safaris in Queen Elizabeth National Park are full of praises with the interesting sightings of the wildlife animals such as leopards, elephants, warthogs, antelopes, lions, buffaloes, and leopards.
