 Detailed itinerary 

Day 1: Pick up from the Entebbe International airport and transfer to Jinja

Upon arrival at Entebbe international airport. You will meet and greet our professional safari guide that will take you throughout this 5 Days Gorillas and White water rafting/source of the Nile Safari and he will brief you on your trip. Depending on your time or interests, you may decide to take a short city tour of Kampala at the Uganda Museum or at the Uganda martyrs shrine before you proceed to Jinja city. The journey to Jinja city will take you through the Mabira forest, the only tropical rain forests and biggest in central Uganda, and see several roadside markets before you are ushered into Jinja city for a short tour and then you go to your short Jinja city.

Journey time: Approximately two hours (2 hours)

Day 2: White water rafting In Jinja city

After a fantastic night, wake up early in the morning and enjoy your breakfast, get ready for the sunrise boat that will take you to the source of the Nile in Jinja. Jinja is regarded as a city with alit of tourist attractions and its where the river Nile has its source. River Nile is the longest river in the world fulfilling your adventure expectations. A boat ride will lead you to the source and you will spend about one hour for this source of the Nile tours. After, you will head to Kalangala falls for the most adventurous activity, call it white water rafting which starts with a briefing. Thereafter, you will be able to go into the waters and start your white water rafting on the longest river in the world. Enjoy the raft over the best grade five rapids offering leap and drops as you enjoy the spectacular views of the bush and forested islands and the sparkling sound of the water over the falls. Wooden canoes operated by the local people will also be seen as most of the locals will come close to enjoy the best of white water rafting and this one of the best adventures that you will ever have. After, you can return to Kampala city for relaxation, dinner, and an overnight stay.

Day 3: Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park

From your hotel in Kampala, you will drive to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park found in the southwestern part of Uganda. You will make some stopovers to stretch your muscles or in case you see anything interesting on the road, you’re free to tell your safari guide to stop and he will do it as you enjoy your Uganda primate’s safari journeyYou will make a stopover at the equator line at Kayabwe for photo moments and then another stopover at Igongo cultural center for lunch before proceeding to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park. Day 4: Gorilla trekking in Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park

After taking your breakfast, with your packed lunch ready, you will now embark on the unique gorilla trekking safari in the jungle. This experience will make you meet and endangered mountain gorillas in their natural world which is so rewarding, you will starting the gorilla trekking experience at the park headquarters for a briefing where you will be given instructions to follow while in the forest enjoying the gorilla trek. Here, you will also be allocated the gorilla family to trek and that’s why it important that you inform your guide about the interest of the gorilla family that you would like to trek such that you can be considered when allocating the gorilla families.it will be a great moment for you to spend time with these endangered mountain gorillas in their natural environment. Gorilla trekking in Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park may last between 30 minutes three hours and thus you need to prepare for this journey. You will spend only one hour with the habituated gorilla family as you enjoy the family while observing their activities such as feeding and learn more about these animals including what do they do and what they like. Feel free to ask your ranger guide and you will get enough explanation. After, this you will be guided back to the starting point and get a certificate and then go to the loges relax, dinner, and overnight at your lodge.

While for the East African Citizens they will be reacquired to pay Uganda shillings 250,000 for East African citizens of Uganda, Rwanda, Burundi, Kenya, Tanzania, and Southern Sudan. Our professional drivers will pick you from Kigali international airport or at the hotel where you slept and traverse with you through the city of Kigali and then start the cross country journey and have your lunch in Kisoro for lunch and a night and then wakeup for gorilla trekking in Bwindi forest park. However, visitors can use 8 to 9 hours to arrive from Entebbe international airport to Bwindi Park with good interesting stopovers. You can as well opt to fly from Entebbe international airport/Kajjansi airfield to Kisoro airstrip which is about two hours Aerolink Uganda limited operated flights in addition to other chartered flights such as that land at Kihihi or Kisoro airstrip and then use an airport transfer to your hotel.
