Day 1: Leave for mount Elgon

Our driver-guide will pick you from your hotel, brief you about the 4 days mount Elgon tour and drive you to the eastern Uganda on the borders of Uganda and Kenya. Mountain Elgon covers the largest surface area of all extinct volcanoes in the whole world. The mountain is blessed with the most magnificent waterfalls, cliffs, eye-catching caves, and gorges in the whole country.

You will have a stopover in Mbale city for some lunch. Upon arrival, you will visit Sipi falls known as Uganda’s romantic falls. Drive to your lodge, have dinner, and an overnight stay

Day 2: Forest discovery at Kapkwai trail

Wake early morning and take breakfast, leave the lodge with packed lunch and head to Kapkwai exploration Centre for a briefing and also get hiking equipment. From Kapkwai Centre you will hike through the mountain bamboo trail which is 7 kilometers, on this trail you will explore the gorge together with its southern gorger and the river which gives you an exciting memorable hiking experience. You will climb down the mountain back to the lodge a d in the evening you will have dinner and overnight stay.

Day 3: Sasa trail

On this day you will have breakfast and set off for hiking on the beautiful Sasa trail. Sass trail is the most used trail used while hiking mountain Elgon. The Sasa trail takes you to Wagagai peak and as you hike you meet the green forest, Mudangi peak, and flowering plants, you will stop somewhere and have lunch sighting amazing landscapes then descend back to your lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 4: Morning nature walk and return to Kampala

On the last day of your safari, you will wake up for a morning breakfast after go for a forest walk where you will enjoy different sounds of birds singing on top of trees, see some of the birds and different species of plants. After the experience, you will head back to the lodge check out and start on your journey back to Kampala, on your way back you will have an en-route lunch, and when you arrive in Kampala you will be dropped off at your hotel or Entebbe international airport to end your 4 days mount Elgon tour
