Detailed itinerary 

Day 1: Pick up and drive to Mountain Rwenzori National Park

This first day of your 3 day Mountain Ruwenzori climbing safari will start with a pickup either from Entebbe international airport or at your hotel and commence the journey to western Uganda for the mountain Rwenzori climbing. This is an approximately 8 hours long journey that will take you through Mubende town where you will have your lunch and then continue via the Fortportal tourism city and finally to Kasese to check-in at the hotel that we will have booked for you in Kasese town for the dinner and the overnight stay.

Day 2: Trek to the Sine Camp

 Here in the morning after breakfast, you will walk to the footstep of the Rwenzori Mountains to start the wonderful journey of climbing at the Rwenzori Mountains. Our 3 day Mountain Ruwenzori hiking safari will make you climb for about 1,450 meters up to the Sine Hut which is about 2680 meters above sea level where you will spend a night from. You will walk through the tall, ancient trees of the afro montane forest zone from the valley and then climb as you see bird species with higher chances of seeing the blue monkeys dashing off the forested area. You are likely to see troops of monkeys both white and black colobus monkeys as they jump from one tree to another. As your climbing mountain Rwenzori, you will also be able to see the L’Hoest Monkeys which are part of the Bukonjo cultural emblems that are preserved and protected by the Kasese King known as omusinga, at times, you can hear chimpanzees in the wild at a distance while climbing. There are almost several plant species that range from forest to bamboo thicket with lichens, flowers, fungi that give some nice looking appearance. The falls called Enock that are just 200 meters from the Sin camp and these provide captivating and nice looing scenery to your eyes. While at the Sine Camp which is at 2596, there are wooden huts that wet set purposely for the visitors to sit and enjoy the green cover of afro montane forest as you see the spectacular falls to you. From here you can as well proceed to Kalalama camp which is at 3 134 meters may continue to this camp amidst fantastic views and from Mutanda camp, you may decide to climb up to Mutinda Camp which is at 3975 meters

Day 3: Hike back or descend to the base of Mountain Ruwenzori

After having your breakfast, you will return to the starting point and then depart to Kampala or Entebbe using the Kasese Mbarara route, where you will be able to make a stopover at two equator line that is the one at Kikorongo in Queen Elizabeth National Park and that one at Kayabwe for the photo moments before proceeding to Entebbe international airport to end your 3 Day Mountain Rwenzori Climbing safaris.
