Birding

From the Lodge, you can organize a full day for their activity of bird watching in the Bwindi forest especially in the Rushaga gorilla trekking region. Birds are extremely many and visitors are advised to come along with a birders guide book to be able to sport some of the bird species. Reaching Rushaga gorilla trekking sector

Rushaga can be accessed by both road and air transport bit of course for luxury gorilla trips,  but since we are planning a luxury gorilla trekking safari in Rushaga then we recommend that you use air transport since it is quicker and so luxurious. The domestic air companies in Uganda include Aero link Uganda limited and fly Uganda. The companies operate both chartered and scheduled flights from Entebbe or Kajjansi airfield to Kisorio Airfield and then with help of our guide you will be transferred to the Rushaga region at your favorite lodge. It is about two hours from Kisoro airstrip to the Rushaga gorilla trekking sector in Bwindi. Visitors can also drive for about 9 hours on the road from Kampala/Entebbe international airport. Though using the road is long, the journey is entertaining and enjoyable as there is a lot to see on your way on the road.
