Usually, most people say that gorilla permits expensive but it is because of the price of the gorilla permit that makes the gorilla safari to Uganda or Rwanda expensive.

In Uganda, a gorilla permit costs USD700 whole in Rwanda the gorilla permit costs USD1500. It the gorilla permit that allows one to go and trek or see gorillas in either Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park, Mgahinga Gorilla National Park, or Volcanoes National Park.

There are other items however that the cost of the gorilla permit doesn’t cover. In other words, after paying the price of the gorilla, there are other items that you will have to pay again especially those you will need to spend on before and after your journey and these are the items that are excluded from the gorilla permit.

Accommodation is one of the major components of the gorilla safari holiday that must be included as long as the safari goes for more than two days in Bwindi, Mgahinga, or Volcanoes national park.

The accommodation fee is excluded from a price of a gorilla permit.  You should book at least a minimum of two nights in and around the gorilla trekking parks. Gorilla trekking is an activity that starts early in the morning with a briefing at the park headquarters and this means that you need to at least book a lodge that is near the park for easy accessibility.

Visitors will need to reach Bwindi, Mgahinga, or Volcanoes National Park a day before your actual gorilla trekking.

From Kisoro and Kihihi airstrip still, we will organize the airport transfers to the large or the park headquarters. However, you should not that the transportation is excluded from a gorilla permit.

Yes, you will buy a permit for gorilla trekking bit due to language or disability, you may need some helpers or porters to give you a hand in gorilla trekking within the forest and you should hire a porter to give you a push within the forest.

The hiring of the porter will attract extra cost and usually, the price of the porter range from USD15- USD20. For people with special interest needs, you will need to have hired the sedan chairs to carry out and the sedan chairs cost United States Dollars 300 to united states dollars 500 and this is taken to ensure that you achieve your lifetime goal of seeing the mountain gorillas however disabled you are.
