Congo is normally done in Virunga national park and it is just 30 minutes to drive up to the starting point of all activities in the park and this starting point is known as Goma town. The Grande Barrier building is where the tourism offices found and it is also the border of Congo and Rwanda. Visitors can also connect to Virunga via the Gisenyi and Goma border through landing at the Kigali International Airport and this drive takes you 4- 5 hours then you cross into Congo up to the tourism office. Congo is the only destination among the three parks where a visitor has a chance to do lowland gorilla trekking and this can be done through visiting Kahuzi Biega national park. Lowland gorilla trekking also costs 400USD. Kahuzi Beiga national park has a big number of lowland gorillas which can be trekked within 2-4 hours. You are also allowed to spend 1 hour after meeting them and enjoy their lifestyle like feeding, nesting as well as taking photos. Gorilla habituation is also done in Kahuzi Beiga national park. The best time you can visit lowland gorillas for  gorilla safaris and tours in Africa is during dry seasons that is January-February and July-October but in the forest area rain can shower any time.
