The African buffaloes sometimes called the cape buffaloes (Syncerus caffer) belong to the Bovini tribe where wild and domesticated cattle and American bison do fall and it is only the African mammals that are a member of this family.  By its nature, the African buffaloes are made of short and powerful limbs and a mature one weighs up to   900 kilograms. The horns of the buffaloes stretch to1.6 meters and are used for protection and defend themselves against enemies. The predators such as lions mainly.
